Write a bit about the story (no spoilers allowed!)
This story is about a girl named Stargirl who is different from other people at school. She wears different clothing and she is always doing things for other people like giving them cards or singing to them. Almost no one likes her except for two people named Leo and Dori.
Write a few words about why you chose to read this book:
I chose to read this book because I thought it looked interesting and I had a friend recommend it to me.
What's your favorite quote/line/moment from the story?
"She was elusive. She was today. She was tomorrow. She was the faintest scent of a cactus flower, the flitting shadow of an elf owl. We did not know what to make of her. In our minds, we tried to pin her to chalkboard like a butterfly, but the pin merely went through and away she flew."
Would you recommend this book to a friend?
I would say that this is a really good book because it is something that could really happen and about real feelings.
